I used to be very bad. I disrespected my parents, assaulted people, stole from stores, broke into houses, sold drugs, did drugs and drank alcohol. I was arrested at 15 years old for breaking into an elderly lady’s house and was admitted to a psychiatric hospital for attacking my sister. I ran away from home and went to a shelter and then to a group home. From there I came to The Judge Rotenberg Center.

JRC has changed me a little bit since I’ve been here. I know to think before I do something. JRC has taught me that for every action there is a consequence. I try my best to be on my best behavior so that I can go home with my family and move on with my life.

JRC has taught me to be polite and to have manners. I used to be very rude to people and have an attitude. They have taught me to work towards getting a high school diploma. I want to be something important in life.
