Recently we enriched our Big Reward Store with the addition of several massage chairs and massage ottomans, personal music stations with CD players and wireless headphones, a second pool/ping pong/air hockey table, a foosball table, karaoke machines, an electric drum set and keyboard, and some new electronic games.

JRC's Big Reward Store is a fun environment for the students. We spared no expense to create a room so filled with enjoyable activities, and with a happy and dazzling ambiance, that it would serve as a powerful motivator to encourage our students to improve both their academic and other behaviors. The students have behavioral contracts that enable them to gain access to this Big Reward Store, and to enjoy the items it contains. In these contracts a student must go for a certain period of time without showing pre-specified problematic behaviors. If students successfully make their contracts, they can gain access to the Big Reward Store. As the students behaviors improve, the length of these contracts gradually are increased to longer and longer periods.
