Students are transported each weekday to and from
JRC’s school building in Canton, Massachusetts. This is an unusually
colorful, attractive, happy environment, with many art prints,
sculptures, and other decorative pieces. The reader is invited to
request a
copy of a videotaped tour of the JRC administrative/school building
or may view this video
here.
Readers may also view a photo tour of our school building by clicking

JRC's school building contains
many special features.
-
Most classrooms are large and sunny.
-
There is a pedestal
desk for each student in most classrooms.
-
Video-monitoring of all
classrooms is done to insure consistent
programming and proper staff supervision. See a February 2001
article about a graduate of our program, that explains how helpful
she found this monitoring system to be.
-
All classrooms have
several Pentium Class IBM compatible
computers, with Internet access. Classrooms
for the higher-functioning students have one computer
for each student. Some students also have a computer in their bedrooms.
-
Indoor and outdoor
physical education facilities include an outdoor
basketball court and a variety of personal exercise equipment.
-
An
audio-visual department and
a computer department keep
the monitoring and computer equipment running properly.
-
A school library/conference
room has an LCD projector that enables students to share projected
computer charts with each other.
-
A
large nursing staff is available at all times
to minister to student individual needs.
