JRC has extremely open and friendly parent visiting policies.

  1. Parents/siblings may visit JRC at any time, with or without notice.

  2. At least once per year, JRC has an official visiting day on a Sunday, at which key staff members are present to meet with the parents. The JRC Parents Group and the Parent Advisory Group meet at JRC on these visiting days.

  3. JRC provides transportation on four scheduled home visits per year (Easter, Fourth of July, Thanksgiving, and Christmas), whenever appropriate and feasible.

  4. JRC makes its best efforts to provide staff to accompany the student on a home visit or to enable parents to hire staff members for such service whenever feasible. Whenever one of JRC residences is temporarily not in use, parents and siblings may be invited to stay there during their visits to JRC without charge. If the residence has been approved for occupancy, the student may stay with his or her family at those times, depending on his or her behavioral progress. JRC staff may be provided to assist the parents during these visits when possible.
