"I have only had positive experiences with the staff at JRC.
They have been very helpful, forthcoming, and accommodating. Progress reports
over the years have been positive. The family is very happy with the child's
placement." - Mohonasen Central School District, New York, 2003 |

"JRC saved the 'day' for R.B. JRC worked very well with R.B.
and her parents to get everyone on board. The individual is no longer suicidal
and appears to feel safe with the structure JRC provides. R.B. is a much more
confident young woman and according to her parents has never been so secure. The
individual's attendance is excellent and she is more able to work on goals. JRC
staff has behavioral expertise and excellent follow through. Her guardians are
thrilled with her progress. I loved working with Lynn Parrillo - she was
absolutely awesome. She dealt professionally with every situation, was honest,
and has excellent 'people skills.' Candy did a fabulous job taking over when
Lynn took a new position. Candy also has terrific interpersonal skills with
family and client. She consistently met the highest of standards and set limits,
structure and consistency for R.B." - Department of Mental Retardation, Massachusetts, 2001 |

"Very pleased at her overall progress - especially with the fact that she has recently been changed to a less restrictive residence and academic setting. T.C. is feeling good about herself. T.C., for the first time in many years is making gains in social, emotional and behavioral areas. T.C. feels safe and seems to realize she is part of a large family. As a result of my visit on October 23, 2001, I have told numerous educators, supervisors and private school directors that the overall JRC philosophy/program has had a very positive effect upon a seriously disturbed student in a relatively short period of time. I feel the quality of the staff as well as your/their professionalism and the on-going training of the staff is excellent. I feel that the JRC program can benefit very difficult students in gaining control of their lives - certainly T.C. is able to function more appropriately and independently than she has in years." - Springfield Public Schools, Massachusetts, 2001 |

"Solid program with careful monitoring." - Dudley Charlton Regional School District, Massachusetts, 2001 |

"We feel that JRC has worked very hard at insuring the most appropriate services for K.H. We are very supportive and applaud their efforts. You have been doing an excellent job. The level of care and concern has been excellent. I feel the entire program has been top notch. Keep up the good work." - North Babylon Union Free School District, New York, 2001 |

"Our district is very happy with his placement. This student
was very hard to place and it is nice to know you have provided a placement that
works in terms of management, academic, physical and social skills for our
student." - Newburgh Enlarged City School District, New York, 2001 |

"I am extremely pleased at the changes in my student and especially that he is now medication free. S.V. is more alert. Currently, the fact that he is in school and staying in class is an accomplishment. He states that he likes the setting." - Lynn Public Schools, Massachusetts, 2000 |

"JRC did an excellent job in meeting our needs when no other
agency was able to or willing. Placement appears to be going well. It appears
that this placement has been able to address the needs of this student and is
assisting in the difficult transition to adult services." - Hampshire Regional School District, Massachusetts, 2000 |

"Our district had a very hard time finding a placement for the child currently at JRC. The staff was very professional in the intake and made the child and family feel comfortable. The child's parent has stated to me that she felt that her son was wanted by your staff and this has helped the entire process." - Scotia-Glenville Central School District, New York, 1999 |

“Since L.D. began receiving JRC support in 1998, he has been able to develop his
social and vocational skills more appropriately. L.D.’s behaviors have decreased
considerably which allows him to have more opportunities in the community and
enjoy the activities that he prefers. L.D.’s health and medical status are
monitored regularly. Since 1998 there has been a
decrease in L.D.’s behaviors. L.D. is able to attend to tasks, participate in
activities and conversations. The program has enabled L.D. to learn more
adoptive skills both at home and in the community. L.D.’s
individual program has recently expanded which allows him to increase his
educational, computer and vocational skills. As L.D.’s
service coordinator, I meet with him monthly either at home or work. Overall L.D.
appears happy, healthy and safe. L.D. is well liked by staff and peers. L.D. is
always willing to tell me the rewards he has earned as well as activities he has
participated in. I feel that I have established a
positive rapport with the staff at JRC. At JRC there have been several difficult
periods since L.D. began at JRC and the cooperative efforts between us made it
easier for L.D. and in helping resolve issues.” - Department of Mental Retardation, Massachusetts, 1999 |
